Registered Dietitian
Job Type: 5 days a week, Temporary August 2024-Septmeber 2025
Location: 4 days in Mount Forest, Ontario, 1 day in Harriston/Palmerston, Ontario
Hourly Rate: $32.65/hr – 38.02/hr
The Mount Forest Family Health Team is seeking a Registered Dietitian 37.5hrs/week, 8:30 – 4:30 Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 12:00 – 8:00pm Tuesdays. Thursdays are in Palmerston/Harriston with the Minto Mapleton FHT.
The Mount Forest Family Health Team, located in the north end of Wellington County offers health care professionals the opportunity to work in an interprofessional team dedicated to providing evidence informed care to over 12,000 patients who live and work in Mount Forest and the surrounding rural communities. The Registered Dietitian provides client centered, goal oriented assessment, teaching and counseling services to patients requiring assistance with nutritional management. The focus is on health promotion, disease prevention and management of chronic disease. The role includes direct patient care with individuals and groups; with community and program development; and collaborating with other providers on an interprofessional team.
The successful candidate for this position will have experience working as a registered dietitian including:
· Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (2 shots) approved by Health Canada and any booster shots recommended by Health Canada, if requested by the Mount Forest Family Health Team.
